Due to connected data between the social algorithms, this one YouTube clip from Parks and Rec has shown up twice among my feeds. It features an actress I recognize but don't see often. She's really pretty, and she reminds me of someone I've met irl who at least used to live here in this city. I can't disclose her name, but she's a Scorpio and has a daughter and knows everyone in the scene (what used to be the scene, at least). I don't know her more than fringe.
A comedy clip had also appeared in my feed, I think on Facebook. It featured a person who I thought resembled said actress enough that it was probably her. I surmised it was sent because of my having interacted with the former clip, so I took note of her name and started to put it into Google.
I started typing "par--" after her name, and it wasn't completing it for me like it most often does. So I finished, "parks and rec". AI came back with, said actress was never on Parks and Rec, however blah blah blah. I was puzzled and assumed AI was mistaken, maybe it was a small role that got overlooked.
I remembered, thankfully, the awesome clip where she says what her name is, and it's so unusual that when I start typing that out, Google does finish my query for me. Alongside that it does have the actress' name.
A different name?!?? How can that be??
I pull up both their pictures for comparison. In my mind they look exactly alike, and simply resemble my acquaintance; but in the pictures, they don't look as alike as I felt strongly that they had.
I Googled if anyone else thought they looked alike. Google's AI answer this time gave my brain some breathing room by conceding 'enthusiastically'. (And yes, as per the AI response, I did find comedic styles similar enough while I was evaluating.)
For reference, the name is not Jennifer, but Tyynifer "with two y's". (I have several files uploaded below, and had conjured the wrong spelling. It's actually Tynnyfer. Funny either way.) The actresses are Whitney Cummings and June Diane Raphael. Also for reference, Whitney is a Virgo, and June is a Capricorn. (*shrug*) Rising signs, maybe??
